Carlo Durante
Managing partner

More than 20 years experience in Energy. Wide experience in strategy, planning, organizational development, and turnaround management. Defined the Corporate structure of FIAT during the turnaround of 1992-1993 and the business development plan for the FIAT Group. Defined the strategic plan for the rationalization of the Italian telecoms. Co-lead the task-force for setting-up of Telecom Italia. Defined the restructuring and strategic plan for capital injection of Alitalia. Contributed to the strategy for the privatization of ENI. Lead the turnaround of ENI Gas & Power in preparation of the energy market liberalization phases. Assisted more than twenty full due-diligences resulted in four acquisitions for around 1€Bn; defined and managed the integration / turnaround projects related to the acquisitions. Founder and CEO of Maestrale (Wind Energy Developer and operator) from 2005 to 2012; Board member of APER, the Italian Renewable Energy Association, until 2012. Founder and Board member of ETA Blades (Innovative / High performance wind blades manufacturer), Dual Energy (kW range Wind and Solar development and construction); eta-G (development and investment in innovative technologies aimed at enhancing the power output of renewable energy plants and return from electricity sales). From 2015 Energy Transition Expert at ISPI.

Andrea Marchisio

Graduated with Pippo Ranci (former President of the Italian Energy Authority), Master in Renewable Energy. After working as Power & Green Certificates Market Responsible for FERA (windfarm developer, operator), in 2009-2011 headed the Wind Department of APER, developing in-depth expertise in policy, regulation and market. While at APER, member of the National Association Network of EWEA, participate to EU Projects (Windskill, Windbarriers, SeaEnergy 2020) within the Intelligent Energy for Europe programme. Founding partner of eLeMeNS, headed studies related to regulatory impact assessment and integration of renewables into the electricity system, designed a quantitative tool aimed at assessing the impact of intermittent RES on power markets.

Tommaso Barbetti

Started his career in renewable energy as researcher for the University of Florence. 2008-2011 in APER – Renewable Energy Producers Association, Head of Studies and Regulation, coordinating and supporting lobbying activities, managing working groups related to RES incentives and electricity markets and publishing the “Observatory on Green Certificates”, leading outlook on the Italian RES scheme. Deep knowledge of policy making process, international RES markets and electricity systems, lecturer at university masters, author of essays and articles. Founding partner of eLeMeNS, has lead studies on regulatory risks and legislation impact on investing strategies, responsible of RES-e Look-Out, quarterly report on the Italian RES sector.
